Profile:

Isidro Vildosola was 14 when he saved his cousin who got stuck in a rice thresher. His cousin survived but Isidro’s right arm did not.

He sought medical attention the next day and felt excruciating pain when his arm was amputated without anaesthesia because there was none available in Koronadal, South Cotabato.
